The game of shuffleboard dates all the way back to the 1500’s when it was made popular. It was played and loved both by the upper class. Since then, King Henry the VIII banned the lower class commoners and soldiers from playing. He believed it to a unhealthy distraction to them. Ultimately, this completely backfired and shuffleboard became a huge tavern and bar activity. Instead of being reserved for the upper class, the commoners would often go down to their local tavern and enjoy games with other common-folk.
Shuffleboard Vs. Table Shuffleboard: What’s the Difference?
Table Shuffleboard differs from regular shuffleboard in the sense that you use your hands to glide the weights down the table rather than using a cue.
